Good afternoon all

busy day for me today (as usual ) so am late in posting :0)

Just a few quick birthday cards from me today...i have alot of birthdays coming up in the next week or so so had to whip a few up.

First one is using my favorite four frames stamp set and punch, cheerful treat designer papers and very vanilla ribbon.

I have been trying to get away from just tying my ribbons in a knot as always so experimenting with ruffling, pleating etc to change the look of my projects.

This one is for my neice who is 4 next week...how time flies!! feel old now :0(

anyway as you can see ive ruffled the ribbon on this design...looks like a bit of a tutu peeking out the side! Again with the cheerful treat designer papers and a non SU 4 stamp coloured in, blinged up with basic rhinestones.

My new best friend set id the creat a cupcake staps and builder punch to match, cant seem to stop using it but then it makes me hungry for cupcakes!!

This uses pastel shades of wisteria wonder, very vanilla and pink pirouette and was comissioned for a friends grandma, hope she likes it and has a lovely birthday.

Thats it from me for now...still got a million and omne jobs to do and thats before i start on my wedding orders etc

take care all and happy crafting

Good Morning crafters
hope all is well where you are :0)

Quick post from me today as not been quite as organised as usual!
My card today is a commission for a friends mum to send to her mum on a very special birthday.

I went with wisteria wonder, sahara sand and very vanilla as my combo...subtle but yummy together and as a special birthday we had to add the 9 0 to the front as is a memorable milestone to say the least!!

Instead of a plain opening card wanted some extra oommph so made a 3 fold out card as shown above so i could get the mum in too and simply decorated them to make them stand out better

I used the boho blossoms punch and some silver brads to hold together and the little leaves sizzlet to add a little flourish...again simple but hilights the letters.

Then added a little bling to the letters and the corners and away we go.

Hopefully the recipient will like it and has a fab 90th birthday!!

Take care

Hi All
Hope you're week is going good so far...almost the weekend :0)

I wanted to let a friend who's going through a tough time at the moment know am thinking of her all the time and tell her to keep smiling
I thought the very cheery coloured Cheerful Treat DSP's you can pick FREE if you host a qualifying workshop fitted the job perfectly, teamed with some melon mambo and non SU ribbons.

I had a little poem or inspirational words lying about so added this as my centrepiece with some itty bitty flowers and gems.

Antique brad to add something extra to it...and you can really see the detail in them and they are great as an addition to many projects...20 brads in 5 different designs, who could resist?! Not me!!

Another commision which uses them is a ruby Wedding Anniversary card below where the brad is the flower centre makes it really stand out.

Take care

Well good morning

As these seem to be my trademark over the last few months i was comissioned to make an exploding box for my friend to give to her friens on her birthday and i must say i am very pleased with my results!!

I was given blue, red and white as her selected colour choice but thought they all work so well together id use them all and topped with a flower made with the fun flowers die and the obligatory bling to brighten up!!

Whe the top was removed this is what she got.....

As you can see it was for a special birthday and i have heard the recipient loved it almost as much as me!!

Sentiments were used from the happiest birthday wishes hostess set which is fabulous along with a retired sentiment set and i did add in the four frames stamp which always seems to be on my go to list at the moment. Flowers made with the itty bitty piunches and basic rhinestones for centres.

Hope you like and would be lovely if you would leave a comment so i know you've popped by

take care

Morning all

Just  a quick one form me today i am trying to get myself organised...trying being the operative word might i add!!

I have had a few crafty sessions with lots of projects to share, todays offering is a quick card for a penpals birthday which i very nearly forgot...sorry Nicky, hopefully this card will arrive to you in time :0)

I used the new in colours 2011-2013 wisteria wonder DSP combined with old faithful olive, again the four frames stamp set for my sentiment and the 'just for you' comes from the Just Believe stamp set which has had a little rest recently.

The finishing touches added with not so basic rhinestones to add some sparkle.

happy Birthday Nicky have a fab day xx

Thats me for today

Take care

 Hi crafters
Hope you have had a lovely day...mine has been busy, crafting which is always good but waiting for british gas workmen...not good!! But im not going to start moaning about them!!

I was asked by a friend to make a congratulations on your engagement for a couple that got engaged at the top of the Eiffel Tower...how romantic :0)

this is what i came up with...i ve used a combo of real red, crumb cake and very vanilla and the effect is great...think will use this combo for my valentines cards too.

I used the medallion stamp as a background, and the 'love' word is a sneak peek of whats to come in sale-a-bration this year starting january 24th so keep your eyes peeled for that!!

I adore the antique brads in the new catalogue and am running a bit low on stock as cant stop using them...this lovely one sets off the rubble of ribbon along the edge.

I also used the four frame stamp set (another of my favorites) to add the sentiment from  a retired set which finished off my card.

i really hope the newly engaged couple like it and gives them special memories.

Well that's it for today...time for a cuppa and put my feet up before work tomorrow

Take care
